This is a summer kimono from my grandmother, who was a dressmaker. It appears it has never been worn since it was made, and there are no visible stains. The basting threads remain on the sleeves. As no one in the family is the right size to wear it, and it seems unlikely anyone will in the future, I would like to offer it to someone who can. It has a bat-wing collar. There is no hem reinforcement, but the original fabric is sturdy.
