It depicts gold and silver leaf shikishi (decorative paper) motifs with images of folding screens, bridges, and seasonal flowers, creating a classical and refined atmosphere. It has a delicate feel, as if you are looking at a story. The pale beige color is easy to match with any kimono. Gold leaf is scattered on the background of the patterned areas. A "rakkan" (artist's signature/seal) (see image) is visible, suggesting that this item was made with careful craftsmanship by an artist. It can be paired with a wide range of kimonos, such as Tsukesage, Iromuji, Komon, and Tsumugi, to create a sophisticated look for tea ceremonies, theater visits, dinner parties, and other elegant outings. This is a very lovely obi, but due to its age, it has the following damage: There are small, faint stains, including in areas that are hidden when worn.
