A work using sacred wood from Nikko Toshogu Shrine [currently unavailable]. A set of five small plates, each with a deep, dark lacquer finish and a chrysanthemum design (Kikuka) in genuine lacquer. *The artist declined the Order of Culture. Dimensions: Diameter 11.5cm, Height 1.2cm. *Kikuka: Refers to the rim being shaped like chrysanthemum petals. *More than two of these items were not produced. This is a one-of-a-kind piece!
