For sale: Rossignol NNBBC leather boots. I purchased these on this site. The year is unknown, but they show little wear; the previous seller reportedly wore them only three times. The soles are in good condition. However, as often happens with leather boots, the sole peeled off during a test run on the slopes. I consulted a specialist, who said the adhesive had deteriorated with age. They offered to repair them, although it would be expensive, so I had it done. I've since tested them on the slopes once, and they performed without issue. These are very sturdy leather boots with reinforced sides, making them stiff and resistant to lateral movement. Compared to the Crispi STETIND boots I own, these provided more stable skiing due to their solidity. However, they felt a bit too large for my feet, and the flex point didn't quite align. They are marked EU42, US8 1/2, so they should fit someone who wears 26-26.5cm shoes. Since they didn't come with insoles, I've included the Sidus custom insoles I had. They would be great for spring skiing, light BC, and cross-country skiing. The price includes the repair cost, but I still think it's a good deal. The soles won't peel off again, and the boots are in good condition, so they should last for many seasons. Overall, I believe the condition is good, but please understand that these are used items. I hope someone will purchase them and continue to use them. I am an amateur inspector, so there may be oversights or differences in perception. Please refrain from purchasing if you have any concerns.
