The mouth of the large Natsume, which is covered in paper, is finished with a black lacquer, and the vine maki-e is applied with gold and rusty silver.
The paper-covered part seems to be finished with persimmon tannin.
It has a finish that is resistant to scratches.
The inside and bottom are finished with black lacquer.
When you open the lid, you can smell the faint scent of lacquer.
There are no cracks or chips, but please forgive any minor scratches.
The signed box is in good condition.
