I lightly tied it once for a fitting. More glamorous than it appears, it's a subtly flashy woven obi (sash). ⭐︎ This obi, for a woven one, has a substantial weight and a sense of gravitas. You can wear it throughout the year, except for the peak of summer (July and August). The length is approximately 464 cm. The taiko (back) part, the front panel, and the area around the taiko are the only parts with a pattern; the rest is plain. The lining is a deep green color. This is a gorgeous woven fukuro obi (formal obi) suitable for the coming seasons. It came in a paulownia wood box, but I discarded it during a move because it was bulky, so I plan to ship it folded lightly. I believe the price including tailoring was around 400,000 yen.
