This is a replacement backplate specifically for the incredibly famous RAT distortion pedal, made by EWS Japan. Replacing the original back with this allows you to have a flat surface on the RAT, making it easy to attach to a pedalboard with Velcro. It's a convenient part! Some reviews mention that the hole positions may not align depending on the year of the RAT, but I've used it on a relatively new RAT, and the holes lined up perfectly. I didn't have to modify anything. It's been used, so there are some Velcro residue marks, but there's no stickiness or unevenness on the surface. You can use it again without any worries. Since it's a part that's usually hidden, a used one should be perfectly fine for anyone who needs it.
