This is a "Hadaka-bina" (naked hina doll), a lucky charm associated with Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine in Osaka. These clay dolls, which originated in the Edo period and were influenced by Fushimi dolls from Kyoto, are considered good luck charms for marital harmony. --- While it still looks relatively good, this is an old piece, so it is being sold with some scratches and stains.
