While there are Ko-Imari pieces from the Meiji era that use sometsuke, green glaze, and shinsya (cinnabar red), this type of tokkuri is unusual. The color of the gos (blue pigment), the painting, and the shape are all of excellent quality. ■Condition■ No chips or cracks. As it is a ceramic from the Meiji era, there are slight kiln marks and other minor stains on the rim. ■The images may differ from the actual color. ■We have thoroughly checked the condition and origin, but please forgive any oversights or errors.
