Please be aware of this. These are coasters made from hand towels of the Nugoo brand. They have a sturdy construction with lining. The Nugoo brand was a hand towel specialty store that was particular about the traditional Chusen dyeing technique. However, they unfortunately closed down in 2020. Based in Kamakura, they incorporated scenes of Kamakura while also using Chusen to vividly express traditional Japanese patterns and landscapes. The pattern placement may differ from the photos depending on the product. Please understand. Due to the traditional dyeing method, there may be unique color unevenness, dye rubbing, and color bleeding. Please understand. Although new and unused, please understand that these have been stored at home. We have inspected them, but there may be oversights of small stains or dirt. Please understand.
