The production period was very short, and they are rarely seen in the Japanese market. It is the name of an ancient city, the ruins of which are located in present-day Algeria. It was a city founded by the Roman Empire and is now registered as a World Heritage Site. It's hard to imagine now, but historical records say it was a city filled with greenery. The cuts on this glass, like large leaves, are designed to envelop the bowl. The condition is beautiful with a nice shine. There are some wiping marks, but no major scratches. There are no chips. Some of the etched glasses have traces of chemicals on the rim, but this is not a chip. Old glasses have small air bubbles and cut marks on the bottom, which are characteristic of handmade items. Please understand that these are antique items, nearly 100 years old, before purchasing. There is no marking as it was made before 1936. I will include a copy of the original catalog.
