I think the fabric is suitable for spring and summer, but you could probably wear them in fall and winter if you wear Heattech underneath. They're white, but not a perfect white; they seem to have a hint of green or beige in them. They're not pure white, so they don't give off a pretentious impression and are easy to match with other clothes.
