I purchased this at a Beams store about four years ago. I wore it three times for my children's events. It's made of sturdy fabric that doesn't wrinkle easily, making it excellent for formal wear. The color is navy, close to black. Please check the photos for the material. It's a fabric suitable for all seasons except summer. The skirt flares out, preventing it from looking too plain, and it also covers the figure, so it might be good for postpartum women. It has been dry cleaned and stored, so it's in a clean condition.
