This is a thin Kamakura-bori plate that expresses the power of a pine tree through its three-dimensional carving. I am surprised by the fresh way the pine tree is depicted in the design across the entire plate. The dynamic and deformed design is very modern and lovely. The trunk of the pine tree looks like the scales of a dragon's body. Looking at this pattern, I was overwhelmed and exclaimed, "Wow!" The color tones are unstable because I took the photos at night with a light. I couldn't quite capture the actual color, so I added photos taken outdoors in the morning. (1.2.8.10 were taken outdoors) The character "久" (Hisashi) is marked on the back of the plate. I wonder if it's a work by Hisayoshi Goto, a Kamakura-bori artist. There are no scratches, but there is some subtle soiling from long-term storage, and there are also some scuffs and small paint chips on the back of the plate.
