This is a 1960s Guyatone vintage short-scale bass made in Japan. It has a solid build and features a thick, round sound typical of vintage instruments. Condition: ・Overall signs of use and aging. ・No truss rod (neck adjustment via neck pocket method). ・Original clock-style tuners installed (one is warped/but functions without issue). ・Factory-installed kill switch (currently not functioning). ・Electronics have been tested and are working. ・Control knobs have been replaced. ・Neck edge has been shaved (please see photos). 【Sound】 The original Guyatone pickup produces a warm, thick tone reminiscent of the 60s. Flatwound strings provide a woody and rounded tone. The appearance is commensurate with its age, but the sound is very good. Please note that the bridge cover is not included. The price reflects this. ※Sold as is.
