Peacocks, phoenixes, and flowers are woven in pale purple, white, salmon pink, green, brown, gold, silver, and light blue. It is woven with 900 Nishiki brocade and hand-woven foil. It is believed to be Nishijin-ori (Nishijin weaving). The material is silk. It is a soft and supple obi, so it should be easy to tie. Images 10-14 show the entire length from the "tare" (the part that hangs down) to the "tesaki" (the end that is tucked in). The base color may look stained in the images, but it is an unused item and has no stains. The gold color didn't come out well in the photos; it is more beautiful in person.
