Since I haven't had many opportunities to use it, it's in very clean condition. I'll include a lens filter as a service. I'm a bit of a clean freak, and I attached the filter immediately after opening it and haven't taken it off since. Therefore, I haven't touched the front or rear lens elements even once. There are photos with the filter removed, so please take a look. I think it's very clean. When not in use, it was stored in an electronically controlled dehumidifying cabinet.
