There is a dead note at only one spot, the 8th fret of the 4th string, when in standard tuning. There are no other dead notes, and there are no issues with playing in the lower positions, but this is for those who understand the current condition. The neck is almost straight, and the truss rod has room to adjust in both directions. Beautiful herringbone decoration is applied to the binding. A hard case is included. The top is solid wood, and the sides and back appear to be plywood. There is no visible reinforcing wood for cracks on the sides. The grain of the Jacaranda wood on the sides and back does not appear to match between the front and back. This is a valuable vintage Japanese acoustic guitar that uses Jacaranda wood. There is some noticeable damage to the top of the body.
