This is my subjective assessment, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item. This is a stylish pair of pants with a cool silhouette and attention to detail, typical of Ships! The waist is elastic with a button closure, but my child has a very slim waist, and they didn't like that it was too loose and tended to fall down, so they hardly wore them. It looked great when they did wear them (unfortunately). I'm selling them because I think they can still be used.
