This item came from my grandmother's storehouse. It's a thick, heavy bowl that appears to be from the Meiji era. The inside center features a pine tree and a hawk, surrounded by five-petaled flowers, plants resembling ivy leaves, and three birds, perhaps phoenixes, with smiling expressions. The outside has a refined design of flowing water and autumn leaves. While there is no major damage such as chips or cracks, there are some imperfections like small gouges and tiny dimples (photos 12 & 13) that seem to have occurred during firing. Additionally, there are some thin, linear stains on the rim in places (photo 11). The dimensions are as follows: Diameter: 23 cm Height: 7.5 cm Thank you.
