Approximately 70g of shiso leaves are included per 1kg of umeboshi. These are "訳あり品" (わけあり品 - "defective" or "imperfect" products) packed with plums that are cut, crushed, damaged, have thick skin, or are pale in color, but the taste is the same, and 3L size umeboshi are used. Please note that some juice may leak from the umeboshi.
