This is a transition period King Joe Marusan type, which I believe is from that time, but there's no way to prove it. It's a child's toy from about 57 years ago, so I'm listing it as a junk item. Please consider it a junk item as there are overall paint chips, impact marks, stains, and discoloration. It's approximately 21cm tall. This King Joe, although difficult to see in the images, is not a Marusan 1st edition, but it does have its chest puffed out like one. This is just my personal opinion, so please check the images carefully. The soft vinyl itself feels a bit soft. Therefore, I, a novice, soaked it in lukewarm water to remove the torso and took pictures of the inside of the soft vinyl, which I've included. I believe there are no breaks or repairs to the three horns or the red ears on either side, but please understand that there may be oversights as it's an old item from about 57 years ago. In my opinion, the softness of the soft vinyl and the chest-puffed-out King Joe suggest it's a transition period piece that carries on the Marusan legacy. Please forgive my assumptions. About a month ago, a Marusan 1st edition King Joe (in good, complete condition) sold for over 1.6 million yen at auction. The horns of King Joe, the red ears, the horns of Garban, the eyes of Kanegon, and the antennas of Eleking and Captain Ultra Hack, would likely break in 10 minutes if a child played with them in a sandbox back then. Complete items are rare. In my opinion, the soft vinyl material is not as hard as the 1st edition. I've owned several transition period King Joes before, and they were all hard; this King Joe is not hard. This is just my amateur assessment, so please consider it as a reference only.
