I am selling this item because I no longer use it. I purchased this item new and have been using it myself. There are fine scratches on the writing surface. These are caused by rubbing when writing. (These are not scratches from bumping, etc.) When I checked the battery (CR2016 3v) with a tester for the listing, it read 2.94v. Regarding the operating condition: The lines on the bottom of the screen appear thicker compared to the top (see photo 1). It seems that the lines (characters) become thinner over time. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
