Here is an image of the damage on the back side of the top guide ring. I didn't check this area after purchasing. I'm contacting you because this damage wasn't mentioned in the product description. I'm not sure if it was while using this rod, but the reel description mentions that the line broke several times. I think this is the cause, as the line broke twice when I hooked a fish.
