The front half of the shoe is made with the Goodyear welt construction, and the back half is made with the McKay construction. This is a sophisticated method often used in bespoke shoes. The soles have a semi-bevelled waist and hidden channel, giving them a luxurious feel. The upper leather used is Ilcea Radica Calf. This inside-lace straight tip shoe can be worn for a wide range of occasions, from formal to business. The outsole (forefoot) is considerably worn and thin. Repair with a half rubber sole or a full sole replacement is recommended at an early stage. There are many wrinkles around the eyelets where the shoelaces pass through. The inside near both little toes is worn, and has been repaired with leather patches. The SHETLANDFOX print on the insole is faded. Rubber has been added to the toes for reinforcement. Reinforcement material has been attached to the heel top lift with strong adhesive. We recommend replacing the top lift when it wears down. The heels are considerably worn. There are multiple cracks in the outsole near the hidden channel. In addition, there is a general feeling of use, such as wear wrinkles and minor scratches. Please understand this before purchasing.
