I made this because my daughter started first grade and had to bring home a large plastic drawer. When I was in elementary school, I thought, "I wish I had a long, horizontal bag like this," but all I could get back then was a tall paper bag, or I had to carry it by hand. It's tough for first graders to use a vertical bag or carry it by hand, right? If you have a child starting first grade, please consider this. ⭐️ #SchoolDeskDrawerBagThatYouDidntKnowYouNeeded ↑ List of bags of the same size ＊＊＊Fabric, Materials, and Size＊＊＊ ★ Made based on my daughter's school drawer. The width is a maximum of 47cm, the depth is a maximum of 34cm, and the height is about 6cm (I checked at school, and it was slightly smaller than the width of the desk). It's made to fit smartly. If your drawer is larger than this, it won't fit, so please check your drawer carefully. ★ Measured flat. The width of the opening is about 55cm. The length to the bottom is about 36cm. The gusset is 7cm, and the width of the gusset is about 47cm (the width of the drawer is 47cm). Please allow for some slight errors. ★ The handles are 40cm long so they can be carried on the shoulder. ★ The downside is that the handle tends to slip off one shoulder, so I've attached a snap button in the center of the handle. Please be aware if you have allergies, as the snap button is made of metal. ★ When folding for storage, acrylic tape can get in the way (it's hard and doesn't fold compactly), so I made the handles from the same fabric as the bag. The opening (the part where the handles are attached), which bears the weight, is reinforced with two rows of stitching. It's a small detail, but I put a lot of care into it (lol). ★ Basically, this bag is for 'smoothly carrying home elementary school drawers'. Please don't put anything too heavy in it. Since it's only used six times a year, I've chosen a fabric that's easy to store and folds compactly to fit in a school bag. ★ Sewing is done with a home sewing machine, and some parts are hand-sewn.
