Adult okobo/pokkuri/geta (Japanese wooden clogs). These feature a rare, tightly packed tatami omote (surface). As shown in the photos, the thong (hanao) shows signs of deterioration, so it may be difficult to use them as is. Would be suitable for someone who can sew or replace the thongs themselves. These geta were made by a craftsman in the Hokuriku region. The underside is made of genuine lacquer and is very beautiful. The height of the platform is not too high, and the plain design makes them easy to match with any kimono. There are signs of wear such as scratches, chips, and peeling, but I think this adds to the character of the geta. The soles are hardly worn down, and the only noticeable issue is the deterioration of the thongs. Not recommended for those who are concerned about minor details.
