This is a Meiji-era aizome (indigo-dyed) kasuri cotton textile. It's unclear whether it's Iyo-gasuri, Kurume-gasuri, or Yumihama-gasuri. While there are stains, patches, and fraying, it's a valuable piece. It can be used as interior decor or as an antique material. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to the unique smells of old textiles, such as mothball odors.
