I purchased this at the Shirakiya store in Aizu in the summer of 2001. I went to buy a stand-type shoehorn, but I fell in love at first sight with the gourd-shaped (lucky charm) individual plates that were in the display case, and I bought them. I really like Shirakiya's lacquerware. I only used it about once, and it's been hidden in the lacquerware cabinet since then. Therefore, the box might be somewhere.
