This is a Kiryu-ori hanhaba obi (half-width obi). It's 100% rayon but a sturdy fabric, not flimsy. Although it's new, there are three areas with what appear to be loose threads, as shown in images 4 and 5. Please take a look. You can use it not only with yukata but also with tsumugi or plain kimonos.
