These obi makura (obi pillows) are made from old, washed, and deconstructed vintage silk kimono. They are for Ginza Musubi and Kadashi Musubi obi knots. You can use them as is, or you can put an obiage (decorative scarf) over them. The middle section is made fluffy by wrapping quilt batting around a thin plastic board. The ends are sewn to prevent shifting.
