This hammock was purchased about 10 years ago from the Conran Shop and is unused. It has been stored in a closet in the same condition as when purchased. It was taken out of its bag for the first time for these photos. It's made of cotton rope, impressively woven together, and cotton fabric with a pleasant feel and texture. The design is simple yet beautiful in its details. It's perfect for outdoor use, but also a great textile for those who want to install a hammock indoors as part of their interior design. We placed it on a TANITA scale we have at home... the hammock itself weighs 2.8kg. Dimensions of the hammock fabric: Width: Approximately 200cm Length (vertical): Approximately 215cm Length of the rope from the fabric edge to the ring: Approximately 60cm Total length: Approximately 335cm As shown in the photos, both the outer storage bag and the hammock itself appear to be made of unbleached fabric. As you can see in the photos, there are areas where the woven fibers appear to have slightly surfaced over time due to the oil content of the fabric. This is likely a natural aging process of unbleached fabric, similar to what you might see in canvas cotton. It wasn't noticeable when the hammock was fully spread out. If you are concerned, we recommend home cleaning. We have kept it with care, but we haven't been able to create a space to hang it at home, so we are offering it for sale. We hope someone who will use it will enjoy it.
