Used docking station 08N1180 for IBM ThinkPad i Series 1620. There is an occasional beeping sound, possibly due to contact with the main unit, but the sound stops when the unit is firmly pushed in. CD and floppy disk operation have been confirmed, but as this is an old item from over 20 years ago, please consider it as a junk item.
