This is an item for sale as part of a collection clear-out. ① Miniature teapot and two teacups Purchased about 20 years ago. I was told at the time that they were made by "Sairei," who had a kiln in Kyoto and is now creating art in Ishikawa Prefecture. Although small, they are made using the same authentic methods as full-sized pieces, with each item formed on a potter's wheel and then overglazed with cobalt blue paint. The teapot lid can be opened and closed, so you can actually brew tea in it. The side of the teapot is intricately decorated with a pattern that looks like peony flowers and leaves. Please refer to the ruler in the photos for the size. There are slight traces of tape on the bottom, which was used to temporarily secure the lid and prevent it from falling off or getting lost when displayed. ② Miniature ceramic plate Purchased a few years ago on an auction site. It is 3cm in diameter. The artist is unknown, but it features a checkered pattern with intricate designs within. The bottom has been cut with a thread, suggesting it was formed on a potter's wheel, despite its small size. After purchasing it, I kept it in a collection case and occasionally admired it. Shipping will be via Rakuraku Mercari delivery, packed in a hard case. #miniature #dollhouse #japanesetableware #pottery
