Genuine US Military A-2 Deck Jacket. 1968 fiscal year. Just after the triangular flap was discontinued. Stencil on the back reads "CVS-10 WEAPS OFF". Likely worn by a weapons officer from the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown. Size M. Length 72cm / Width 59cm / Shoulder width 48cm / Sleeve length (excluding sleeve ribbing) 64cm. Some wear and tear, with minor stains in places, and some small damage to the sleeve ribbing. The A-2's characteristic zipper bottom stitching is undone (see image). It can be easily fixed with a sewing machine, but it's currently fully original, so I've left it as is. If you intend to wear it, please have it sewn. Otherwise, there are no problems at all. For a 60s A-2 deck jacket, it's in very good condition. Cleaned before listing, so it's in a clean condition. There's no severe dirt or odor, which is common with deck jackets.
