The 15mm thick plywood is heavy, and the wide base provides excellent stability. Although it has been used for many years, it is sturdy and has never wobbled. All the stationery and writing instruments in photo 1 were stored in it. Photos 11, 12, and 13 are dimensional drawings. The inside bottom of the pen holder is black from pencils and other writing instruments, but since plywood swells when it gets wet, only the dust has been removed from the inside. ★Caution: Some of the tacker staples driven from the bottom of the holder have penetrated the inside bottom. The protruding parts of the staples have been bent or hammered down, but please refrain from touching the inside bottom with your fingers, as it is dangerous. This is a beloved handmade item that has steadily stored my stationery for about 20 years.
