I made pants using hand towels and yukata that were repeatedly dyed and dried in persimmon tannin solution to achieve a deep color. Arimatsu shibori, dyed with persimmon tannin, was used for the hem. The pants are generously long and wide. The hem has thin elastic threaded through it, creating a monpe (work pants) style. Removing the elastic will result in wide pants with a hem width of approximately 30 cm. Length: 96 cm Waist: 110 cm Hips: Approximately 140 cm Rise: 41 cm Inseam: 62.5 cm Hem width: 14-29 cm Hand-washed after completion. Please be careful when washing as the color may slightly bleed. Two 8mm wide strong elastic bands are used for the waist. They are cut at 80 cm and temporarily tied, so please adjust them to your size. The dyeing of persimmon tannin varies slightly depending on the texture of the hand towel or yukata and the time of dyeing.
