I am organizing a large collection of tea utensils that my mother, a tea master, cherished. She traveled the world and always acquired the tools she loved. Her disciples visited almost daily and enjoyed them. Please take a look at the photos of my mother's tea utensils and purchase any that you like. Some are in perfect condition, some are unused, some have been well-loved, and some have scratches... The tea room itself and all the utensils are just sleeping there, and it seems a shame to leave them that way. I would like to pass them on to someone who will appreciate them. This is a Kyuko Bon (tortoiseshell-pattern tray) by the 9th generation Hikoemon Nishimura of Zohiko. It would be interesting to use it as a base by placing a vase in the center.
