The fabric is thick and filled with padding. I think you can wear it even in the dead of winter depending on the inner layers. There are stains overall. There is pilling on the cuffs, collar, and ribbed hem. Please be aware that there are stains in multiple places, ranging from small to slightly larger. They may be difficult to see in the photos.
