This is a beautiful and rare folding knife from Hermès. As those familiar with it already know, this is an original by Jacques Mongin. Jacques Mongin is a legend who began making knives at the age of 14 and received the "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" award, the highest honor for craftsmen. The double name with Hermès is a collector's item that many covet. (It's a little hard to see, but there is a JM stamp inside an oval in the fourth photo.) The handle material is carved from a block of buffalo horn, and the blade is locked by a back spring that wraps around it. It's extremely portable, but even if you're not outdoors, it's stylish to use this to cut cheese and other things in your daily life. Due to the lack of a maker and the shortage of high-quality materials, it can no longer be made, and its value will only increase due to its rarity.
