This CD album is "Party of One" by Nick Lowe, the famous British singer-songwriter and producer for Elvis Costello. This work was produced by Dave Edmunds and released by Reprise Records in 1990. The participating members are from Little Village, including Jim Keltner (dr) and Ry Cooder (g). It is a wonderful work, also as a representative work of Nick Lowe's mid-career. In particular, "Gai-Gin Man" with Ry Cooder's brilliant slide guitar, "What's Shakin' on the Hill" where you can enjoy the play of the legendary jazz bassist Ray Brown, the light and cheerful skiffle "Jumbo Ark", and Nick's humorous songs that are still highly regarded.
