Raising sheep without pesticides requires vast land and abundant pasture, but the land is only suitable for shrubs and grasses, and sheep are grazed naturally. Farms that do not originally engage in agriculture do not use pesticides, and the completely free-range sheep live naturally with only their inherent resistance, without the administration of antibiotics. Organic wool is obtained from such sheep. We made flannel using this material. It was spun to a 48 count for worsted flannel, woven as a twill weave using a Schönherr loom in Bishu, and the raw fabric was finished as flannel at the Sanko Textile Ogaki factory. Founded in 1914 (Taisho 3), the factory has a long history, including making offerings to the Imperial Family in the 1930s as the Kanebo Spinning Ogaki factory. This factory aims to create the world's best flannel, and many technicians have accumulated research and development, completing the perfect form of worsted flannel in 1953, and continuing to pass on the technology and create wonderful flannel even after more than 60 years. This is a special material that was specially made for us on the flannel processing line, which is usually operated only to produce our own products.
