This is a rare EXPERIMENTAL (test sample, prototype) from the earliest 1985 accounting, and is an early type with a high collar on the hood. There are no missing drawcords on the hood and hem, nor are there any missing snap buttons. The double zipper on the front also moves smoothly. Note that there is no Gore-Tex inscription on the seam tape on the inside of the back. The indicated size is Medium Long, and the actual measurements are approximately: Length: 79 cm Width: 61 cm Sleeve length: 89 cm (Please allow for some margin of error.) When I, who am 173cm tall and weigh 72kg, wear it, it feels a little loose, like a size L. As for the condition, there are some minor fabric lifts in places (photos 10-12), slight peeling of the seam tape on the inside of the back (photo 13), a scuff near the waist on the back (photo 14), dirt on the hem of the front closure (photo 15, hidden by the fly), a small stain on the back of the upper right arm (photo 16), a stain on the back of the left arm joint (photo 17), and a stain on the right front hem of the back fabric (photo 18), but as an early piece, there is not much fading, and it is in relatively good condition. We ask that those who understand these military vintage items purchase them. This is a shell parka that can be worn for three seasons, and the robust feel of the real thing is outstanding.
