I am selling this item to organize my collection. This is an empty bottle of Scotch whisky from Chivas Brothers, a Scottish company now under the umbrella of Pernod Ricard. It was first released on June 2, 1953 (Showa 28). Initially, it was produced as a limited edition to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II of the British Windsor dynasty, but due to its unexpected popularity, the design of the container was slightly altered and released, becoming a high-end Scotch whisky exported to over 100 countries. This Scotch, with an age statement of over 20 years, is popular in East Asia, including China, Taiwan, and Vietnam. The name "Royal Salute" is derived from the salute that the British Royal Navy performs at royal events, and since 21 shots were fired at the coronation of Elizabeth II, only whiskies aged for 21 years or more are used. This is the empty bottle, and although it is empty, the beautiful blue glass container is quite majestic. The impressive lion design embossed on the surface gives a sense of dignity, and the luxurious lid with a gold cap has a well-made cork, allowing it to be sealed tightly. There is no knurling on the bottom, and the construction is such that it can be used as a decoration after use, rather than just a glass bottle, so I believe it can be used for display or as a decanter. As a drawback, there is a slight scratch on the lower left of the front label. As this is a used item, please take a close look at the photos before bidding.
