Purchased over 25 years ago from an antique shop in the suburbs of Paris, France. This is a very old, somewhat large set of 6 tin canister containers, each containing a different spice, seasoning, or ingredient, and are difficult to find. The shop owner mentioned that a set of 6 of this size was rare, dating back to the 1920s. They have a chic, ivory-like color, with two birds resembling pheasants on one side and delicate flowers on the other, allowing you to enjoy a change of scenery. These tin cans have been used in France for many years, and are in relatively good condition for their age. As they are large tin cans, they make an impact when displayed, and are also useful for storing small items like buttons, or in the kitchen. The condition is as it was when purchased. As they are very old, there are individual differences, but overall they are in good condition, with some signs of age such as dirt, scratches, paint loss, fading, and rust.
