This is a set of 5 Hirota Glass plates. My family purchased these about 35 years ago. They were used for a long time in a shop. They were perfect for serving a beautiful fruit platter with three different kinds of fruit, accompanied by forks to add color. There are no chips, but there are fine scratches on the surface. Also, due to the frosted glass, the cloudiness on the back is quite noticeable.
