It uses DRYVENT. Main features of DRYVENT: Waterproof: Repels water droplets and prevents water penetration. Windproof: Blocks wind and prevents body temperature from dropping. Breathable: Releases moisture from inside the garment to maintain a comfortable state. Comparison with other waterproof materials: DRYVENT is excellent in waterproof and breathable properties, similar to Gore-Tex. Purchased two years ago. I didn't wear it last year. I always have my winter clothes cleaned, even the ones I don't wear. The hood is removable. As you can see, it's in beautiful condition. I don't think I've worn it more than 10 times.
