Purchased from a kimono shop and stored in a Japanese chest of drawers, wrapped in tatoushi (protective paper). The basting threads are still intact, as they were when purchased. I am an amateur, so I may not be able to answer detailed questions about the item. - Although it is new, there are creases from being stored in a private home for a long time. - Please be understanding of any overlooked stains. - Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor details.
