This is a jazz bass from S.galaner, a brand original to Shimokura Musical Instruments. It features a pearloid pickguard. The color is Sonic Blue. The pearloid pickguard specification seems to slightly increase the list price. The current list price seems to be 39,800 yen, but the headstock shape is not the Fender type. This one is a Fender headstock type. The color might look cool as it ages and yellows. The wood is quite good, but it feels like cost control is being done with the hardware. The sound is energetic and punchy. It feels like it has a lot of power. There are small dings (see photo 7) and chips. There are small ones on the back of the body and on the underside.
