This is a stainless steel dish that has been stored in a cardboard box for several years. It would be great for serving fruit or as a hors d'oeuvre plate. Please note that there are tiny rust-like spots, about the size of sand, between the lace attached to the inside of the dish and the outer stainless steel. The height can be lowered and flattened by removing the base screws on the back. The lace on the surface of the dish is securely fixed and cannot be removed. Thank you for your understanding.
